It's so beautiful here. I have been walking with a new friend Bea ( kinda sounds like bear. ) We laugh our assess off down the trail and are both in pain all day long. My feet & shins, her knee & feet as well. We reenact the sounds we heard from our hostel neighbors in the night and also guess the different ways you can die on the Camino. We have covered just about every subject.
I'm battling a nasty blister between my toes and my shins are both hurting by the end of each day. When you keep walking, the pain seems to dull and I just keep going.
I placed some stones at the cross of ferro yesterday. One for my boys (Lefty, Mark, Pancho) & one for all of you that I love and cherish. I hope that your pain or burden becomes lighter. 🙏✌️✨

ReplyDeleteYour perseverance is commendable! I just read Storm Large is on the Camino and is really struggling with hip and leg pain and may need to give up. 😔
