*Day 6* 101 km/800

Most beautiful day so far. Crops, wildflowers, medieval architecture. Gorgeous day but I'm really starting to hear my body. It's not unbearable pain but she's talking to me. My feet are swelling to the point I may need a size bigger in shoes and I have a hot spot on my pinky toe. My feet have been working so hard for me. Thank you feet!

There is no complaining though. I feel alive. It hurts but I still danced my way down part of the trail today listening to Yonder. Boatman Dance is a scorcher. First day I have listened to music while walking. I'm going to need music to get my pace fired up. I need to get more miles under my belt if I'm going to make it to Santiago.

Just soaked in a free Epsom foot bath. Legs up the wall. Send me good thoughts friends. 🫶

  4. Get some moleskin on those tootsies before the blister forms. I'd bet that your body will get in a groove soon!
