Good/ Not Good you guys... My right ankle is pretty bruised up. I'm thinking stress fracture or a shin splint. It started after an extreme vertical incline early morning yesterday- I didn't stretch first. Doh! I really want to nurse it so I can keep going. Google says rest, ice, compress, elevate. I am set up for success in this hotel room. I just need my body to cooperate.
I've been feeling like I'm in an episode of survivor the last couple days. Just pushing through challenges, thinking outside the box. I kind of thrive off of problem solving so it's fun... But I'm definitely uncomfortable at the moment.
I'm looking at renting a bike for a few days to give my legs a little bit of rest. I think it's the best idea I have right now.
Oh great, one of my toes is starting to swell up. Fak!
Oh no! ugh, def not fun and your body is fighting you...but you got this- mind over it... there is no rush- taking a few days to heal and recalibrate is a good thing...i see the cava ( in spain right;) bottle int he background- maybe a few more of those and some time to chill in the town...sending healing thoughts!love mara and eben
